This bridge directs pedestrian and bicycle traffic across the Lech River from the railway station to the historical city center and to the school campus.
It braces itself like a bow against the flow of the Lech: At the pillar, the path makes a turn to the left which, in conjunction with the beveled pillar shape, gives the bridge a dynamic appearance.
The outer surface of the bridge is clad in polished stainless steel, reflecting the movement of the water, the surrounding green areas, and the sky. The reflection changes depending on one’s perspective. This ever-changing landscape provides an exciting element. On the bridge itself, the pavement and trough are intense colors.
