  • A distinctive, generously proportioned, eight-meter-high roof rises canopy-like above the train station, the waiting area, the platform, the track underpass access, and the interface to the bus station. This canopy is formed with high quality, prefabricated, reinforced concrete segments raised on struts and cast with monolithic concrete, and provides protection and shade for the entire area.

Two compact buildings beneath the roof are arranged to form a central corridor between the driveway and the tracks. The corridor houses ticket sales, telephones, and an information desk.

The two buildings house administrative offices and meeting rooms, as well as passenger accommodations. Glass panels bring in natural light and provide a view of the surrounding areas. Passenger accommodations include waiting rooms, a bar/restaurant, prayer room, luggage storage, and restrooms.
